Abboud left Khartoum, Sudan, to study in the United Kingdom and after completing his studies he migrated to Australia in 1982.

He is a Certified Chartered Accountant, and he has had more than 35 years of experience across the property and development sector.

Abboud is Managing Director of Bakhita Affairs Pty Ltd, a successful property and development business, which he established in 1996. 

Abboud has been a dedicated and active member of the Melkite Church and community since arriving in Australia.
