Our Parishes in Australia and New Zealand have iMelkite committees of young people who are enthusiastic about keeping our Melkite identity with its rich Eastern traditions and culture thriving.
One of the best and most enjoyable ways to do this is to come together to worship and share our joy in each other’s company.

ST JOHN'S MELKITE PIPES & DRUMS
The St John’s Melkite Pipes & Drums is based at St John the Beloved Parish, Greenacre Sydney and has been a joyous part of our parishes and community celebrations for over 25 years. Our Melkite tradition embraces the beauty of music to express reverence for our faith, love, and life.
LITURGY
As Melkite Catholics we profess our belief in a public life of worship, fellowship, and service. Most importantly, as part of God’s family, we join in worship.

There are many ways we can participate in the Divine Liturgy.
WOMEN'S COMMITTEE
Our Parishes in Australia and New Zealand have energetic, well organised Women’s Committees. These fabulous women use their skills and talents to ensure our Melkite community life continues to flourish―our joy in each other’s company, expressed through the frequent meals and social gatherings we share and how in need we come together to support one another in the trials of daily life.

Melkite iCare was established in 2020 and is a new chapter of philanthropy in the Melkite Catholic Eparchy of Australia, New Zealand and All Oceania.

The vision of Melkite iCare is to facilitate the education of the children of our homelands who are unable to access or continue their education due to the economic and humanitarian crises that have consumed their country. We have witnessed this in the Sudan civil war of April 2023, Syria earthquake on 6 February 2023 and the Beirut explosion on 4 August 2020.
