Wasim worked as a quality industrial engineer in the food manufacturing industry in France from 1985 to 1990. 

After migrating to Australia, Wasim in 1992 established and is Managing Director of Clean Plus Chemicals Pty Ltd.  He has led a dedicated team of over 40 people to become the largest, family-owned cleaning and hygiene chemicals manufacturer, servicing the hospitality, healthcare, aged care, food processing, laundry, automotive and commercial sectors through their distribution network operating in all Australian states and supported by their warehouses in Brisbane, Melbourne, and Perth. His company won the Small Business Award in 2003.

Wasim is dedicated to and proud of our Melkite Church and community. Through his desire for our Church to flourish, he has been a steadfast leader, contributor, and support to the Church for many years.
